Ms. Yunzhu CHEN is the Senior Program Officer of the Ecosystem Conservation and Community Development program at GEI. With a background in conservation science, stewardship, and biodiversity, she is leading sustainable community development projects in Myanmar and western China. She is a former fauna field assistant at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and a conservation technician at the National Conservancy of Canada in Ontario, where she conducted field inventory and monitoring programs.  

Yunzhu holds a master’s in environmental science from the University of Toronto and a B.S. in oceanography from the University of Hainan. She speaks Mandarin and English.
