GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (please check job posting for specific details)

• Education: Bachelors degree in related field required; Masters and/or Ph.D. level preferred. 
• Work experience: Ideally at least 2 years work experience in related field for program officer level; 4+ years experience for program manager level and above. 
• Language: High-level working proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English required; fluency in a third language a plus. 
• Writing ability: Excellent technical and project reporting writing skills required in native language; ability to write professionally in the non-native language (English, Chinese or other) a plus. 
• Technical skills: Experience in techniques, software and tools (e.g. GIS, Photoshop, etc.) will be specified in each posting.
• Recommendations: Each applicant should have 2-3 professional references. 
• Knowledge of GEI and environmental issues in China: We expect that applicants know our history and our work.
